LiquidVPN Warrant Canary

LiquidVPN whole heartedly believes in complying with the rules of law. Without rule of law society would still be in the dark ages. We may not agree with laws like the U.S. Patriot Act or the British H.R. 1981 that would permit authorities to compromise the privacy of law abiding citizens and facilitate the search and/or seizure of said citizens private data to be used in a criminal investigation while prohibiting any type of disclosure to rest of the affected community.  but we must abide by them until they are changed. 

LiquidVPN has stated in its ethics policy that it would move to another jurisdiction or cease operations entirely if such laws were ever enforced in such a way that would result in compromising its customers privacy or the spirit of the code of ethics in which it operates. To uphold the contract described in the ethics policy LiquidVPN on a weekly basis will publish a warrant canary that will contain a crypto-graphically signed message that contains:

- A declaration of validity twice a week, created by David Cox, LiquidVPN's CEO and lead network engineer certifying that as of the date Published LiquidVPN has not been subject to any searches, warrants or seizures that are not reported in the Transparency Reports. 

- A declaration of date, containing an excerpt from today's headlines from CNET a highly respected news source

If this message is removed or suddenly stops being updated then you should exercise extreme caution when using any LiquidVPN resource until the signed updates start to be published once more.
